DevOps Engineer at Damolak Technologies Ltd

Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled DevOps Engineers to join our team of talented individuals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud services and be proficient in utilizing tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Sonarqube, Maven, Ansible, and Docker. Knowledge of Kubernetes is highly desirable, as well as experience with monitoring tools like New Relic and Grafana. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our infrastructure, streamlining our deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor students and individuals transitioning into the DevOps ecosystem, so a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge is essential. This is a full-time position, primarily remote with occasional onsite collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for automated software deployment.
• Utilize Git for version control and code collaboration.
• Implement code quality checks and security scans with Sonarqube.
• Manage build automation and dependency management with Maven.
• Automate configuration management and orchestration tasks using Ansible.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance and health using New Relic, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.
• Mentor students and individuals transitioning into the DevOps field, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Solid experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Sonarqube, Maven, Ansible, and Docker.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and monitoring tools like New Relic and Grafana is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively mentor and teach others.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies.
