DevOps Engineer at Curacel

Your Objective

• Day-to-day you’ll help us manage, optimize, and scale our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS as our primary cloud provider, with some exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Cloudflare. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth deployment processes, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and improving system reliability.

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (primary) and GCP (secondary).
• Manage and optimize Cloudflare services for security and performance.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Deploy and manage serverless applications.
• Monitor and enhance system reliability, security, and scalability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with engineering teams for resolution.
• Implement best practices for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Enhance security and compliance across our cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.).
• Exposure to GCP and familiarity with its key services.
• Experience with Cloudflare for performance optimization and security.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Experience deploying and managing serverless applications using Vapor or similar tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
• Knowledge of best practices in cloud security, networking, and cost optimization.
