Job Description

• Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
• Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
• Write SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts, troubleshoot across apps and different database engines.
• Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces
• Develop, test and implement new software programs.
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

Job Qualifications & Criteria

• Candidate must be a B.Sc Graduate with either of the following disciplines:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology, Or any other related course.
• Candidate must reside in Lagos; proximity to Maryland is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Hands on experience of programming languages (C#, Java, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of Net Core
• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate, Entity framework and Dapper)
• Experience with source control (GIT)
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Attention to detail.
