Job Description

• The Design Intern will support the design team with concept development, space planning, visual presentations, material sourcing, site coordination, and general project tasks.
• This role is for someone who enjoys creative work, pays attention to detail, and wants hands-on experience in interior design.

Responsibilities

• Develop layouts, sketches, and basic space planning concepts
• Prepare mood boards, design presentations, and visual materials
• Source materials, finishes, furniture, and suppliers
• Assist with site visits, measurements, and progress documentation
• Support project documentation, including drawings and reports
• Maintain sample library and organize design materials
• Work with designers on client deliverables
• Handle basic admin tasks tied to ongoing design projects.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field (NYSC corpers recent graduates can apply)

Experience:

• No formal experience required, formal experience is an added advantage.
• Any prior coursework, personal projects, or a small portfolio will be an advantage

Skills Required:

• Strong interest in interior design
• Good eye for aesthetics and detail
• Ability to sketch or communicate design ideas visually
• Basic understanding of design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar is an advantage)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good time management and willingness to learn
