    Deposit Mobilization Officer

    Job Summary:

    • The Deposit Mobilization Officer's primary responsibility is to attract and secure deposits from individuals, businesses, and organizations. Your main goal is to increase the bank's deposit base and ensure the availability of funds for lending and other banking activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Actively identify and pursue opportunities to attract new depositors and increase the bank's deposit base.
    • Implement marketing strategies and campaigns to promote deposit products and services to potential customers.
    • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
    • Assess customers' financial needs, risk tolerance, and investment objectives to recommend suitable deposit products.
    • Explain the features, benefits, and terms of various deposit products to customers, ensuring they understand the offerings.
    • Process deposit account applications, complete required documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Requirements:

    • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required.
    • Knowledge of microfinance principles, banking operations, and financial products is beneficial.
    • Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients.
    • Proven sales skills with the ability to identify potential clients, generate leads, and convert leads into deposits.
