This role is responsible for curating a demand forecast by products based on sales history and sales plan.
The role also performs supply planning activities, ensuring stock availability/cover within target at optimized inventory and cost levels to meet current and future business needs.
Responsibilities
Generate periodic (annual/quarterly/monthly) demand plan/forecasts and budget based on historical data, customer market visibility, stock level, business/sales trends, demand patterns etc. to ensure details needed are available for decision making.
Coordinate demand planning process via detailed collaboration with sales team to drive demand accuracy.
Coordinate monthly demand-review meeting with sales team to evaluate forecast trends, challenge numbers’ assumptions, understand demand driver and insure a full consensus on figures.
Develop master production schedule for glass production, detailing production sequence and lead-time in alignment with (KAMs) & Plant Managers for each month.
Work on all related reports for production planning, sales and inventory outlook used for material requirement planning, cash flow & warehouse planning.
Intimate KAMs, Supply Chain Managers & Warehouse Supervisors on stock and Sales Order (SOD) availability
Weekly Projection of sales target in alignment with KAMs to keep all hands-on deck to maximize sales.
Drive and optimize inventory management to achieve costs reduction/working capital via inventory dispatch planning and variance tracking.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Science / Management or other related fields
4-6 years’ experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Presentation
