Delivery Manager at Darey.io

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Delivery Manager to join our team.
• The Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects and initiatives by collaborating closely with Scrum/Product Managers, Developers, and cross-functional teams.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication and documentation skills, and a strong track record of driving project delivery on time and within scope.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Scrum/Product Managers to thoroughly understand project requirements, objectives, and scope.
• Develop and maintain a clear project delivery plan, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with the defined project plan, promptly addressing any deviations or roadblocks.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective execution of project tasks, adhering to Agile and Scrum principles.
• Provide continuous support to Scrum/Product Managers, offering insights and recommendations to optimize project delivery processes.
• Foster a collaborative work environment by facilitating communication and knowledge-sharing across teams.
• Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and bottlenecks in project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's goals and priorities, ensuring project alignment with broader strategic objectives.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Regularly report project status, key performance indicators, and delivery metrics to relevant stakeholders.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency within project teams.
• Ensure that documentations from team heads are regularly created/maintained.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience of 4-5 in project or delivery management, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, JIRA).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of technical concepts and terminology.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Availability for occasional travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Familiarity with project management software tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Previous experience in client-facing roles.
