Job Overview

• We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our manufacturing team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting manufactured goods, raw materials, and equipment to various locations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport manufactured products, raw materials, and equipment to customers, suppliers, and various company locations
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage
• Inspect vehicles daily and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness
• Plan efficient delivery routes and manage delivery schedules to meet deadlines
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related issues professionally
• Secure cargo properly and verify inventory accuracy before departure
• Report vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly to management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for vehicle class
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual handling tasks
• Strong knowledge of local and regional geography
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
