Delivery Driver at NIMPAT Group

Job Description

• We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and/or passengers to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner.
• The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe and smooth journey
• Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from passengers or clients
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and dress code
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school, diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Driver or in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, if required
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a delivery or transportation role
• Familiarity with local roads and routes
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
