Deck Crew - Rigger at Scruples Resources

Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Deck Crew – Rigger to support lifting and rigging operations on offshore platforms.
• This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of heavy equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, and operate rigging and lifting equipment for offshore operations.
• Assist crane operators by safely rigging loads for lifting and transportation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures during lifting operations.
• Perform inspections on rigging equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Maintain and repair rigging gear and tools.
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth lifting operations.
• Support cargo offload activities as required.
• Support isolation and de-isolation activities of production and utility equipment.
• Identify and report unusual conditions within the production facility.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in rigging, preferably offshore.
• Certifications:
  • Rigging and Slinging certification.
  • Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
  • Lifting Operations certification is an advantage.
