Debt Capital Markets Analyst at Stanbic IBTC

Job Description

• To manage workstreams in support of the origination, structuring and execution of Capital Markets  transactions by developing a seasoned understanding of the Capital Markets product offering and processes and by performing delegated activities independently,  within defined quality standards, risk parameters and relevant regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• First Degree
• Minimum of three (3) years experience 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a track record managing multiple workstreams to deliver timely results.
• A track record comfortably interact with business clients and management and demonstrated organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Display a genuine interest for financial markets and global economics with relevant industry experience via Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity, or equivalent. 
• A  strong track record in financial modelling and analysis. 
• Basic understanding of P&L and various capital structures required. Asset-backed financing and/or credit experience is a plus.
• Seasoned technology experience and the ability to learn new software quickly.  Excellent Excel (macros,  pivot tables, look-ups and filtering), Word and PowerPoint skills.
