Database Administrator / Software Developer at Benin Electricity Distribution Plc. (BEDC)

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and optimizing BEDC's disparate databases
• Key driver of ongoing Data Governance project
• Ensure data accuarcy and accessibility
• Provide support and to other IT functions
• Provide support for the development and security of critical software and web assets.
• Drive compliance to policies affecting database management.
• Any other function that may be assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related courses
• Relevant certifications will be an added advantage
• Have 2 - 3 years experience in similar role
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and skillsAbility to multitask
• Able to work in a fast paced environment and under high pressure.
