Data Scientist and Trainer at Trontier Limited

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time ad hoc Data Scientist and Trainer.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering data science training programs to our learners, as well as delivering data projects when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality training programs on data science using industry-standard tools and techniques
• Create engaging learning materials, including presentations, and exercises
• Evaluate students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their skills
• Collaborate with other trainers and instructors to continuously improve the training program
• Work on data science projects from problem formulation to delivery of insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized solutions that meet their requirements
• Gather, clean, and analyze data using a variety of tools and techniques
• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems
• Communicate findings and insights to clients through clear and compelling visualizations and reports
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data scientist or a data analyst with a strong focus on machine learning and statistics
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs on data science and machine learning
• Experience working on data science projects for clients in a consulting or agency environment
• Proficiency in using industry-standard data science tools, such as Python, R, and SQL
• Experience in working with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including deep learning
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
