Data Collector at Preston Associates for International Development

The objectives of the evaluation are:

• To assess the impact and effectiveness of the activities implemented during the project.
• To evaluate the efficiency in relation to beneficiaries, cost, and timeline of the project
• To assess the current figures of the project indicators as documented in the results framework.
• To assess the sustainability of the project (institutional, social, financial, etc)
• To document the communities’ perception towards the project.

Required Competencies

• Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship / Management Studies, Business Administration, Economics, Demography and Social Statistics, Sociology, or any other related social sciences degree.
• Possess up to 2 – 5 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection (with experience using data collection software such as ODK, SurveyCTO, etc.)
• Possess competency in audio transcription and ability to produce good transcripts.
• MUST be resident within Edo State in any of the three senatorial districts within the study locations as listed below;
• Edo Central (Uromi, Irrua, and Esan North East LGA)
• Edo South (Udo, Usen)
• Edo North (Agbede, Etsako West LGA, Auchi)
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and local languages of the affiliated study locations in the respective Senatorial District.
