As a Data Collector at HMD, you will be an essential part of our market analysis team, responsible for collecting and organizing data from various sources.
Your work will provide the foundation for our market research and analysis efforts, enabling us to make informed decisions that impact our product development, marketing, and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection: Gather data from a variety of sources, including online databases, industry reports, surveys, and other relevant outlets.
Data Validation: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data by cross-referencing information and performing data quality checks.
Data Entry: Accurately input data into our databases and spreadsheets, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive records of data sources, collection methods, and any relevant notes.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of regular reports and presentations by providing well-organized and clean data sets.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Market Analyst Manager and other team members to understand data requirements and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
Data Privacy: Adhere to data privacy regulations and company policies when collecting and handling sensitive information.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to data collection processes and tools to enhance efficiency and data quality.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Proven experience in data collection or a related role.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proficiency in using data collection tools and software.
Basic knowledge of data analysis and data visualization concepts.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Interest in the heavy equipment industry is a plus.
