    Data Analyst

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Vestates Limited. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting various data sets to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes. Your role will involve preparing reports, conducting data analysis, and maintaining accurate records. You will collaborate with different departments to gather and analyze data related to expenses, sales, lettings, customer acquisition, market trends, and other relevant areas. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare periodic expense reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
    • Generate and analyze diesel reports, providing insights into consumption and cost trends.
    • Create sales and lettings reports, including scouting options and market analysis.
    • Prepare short-stay reports, assessing the performance and profitability of our short-term rental properties.
    • Maintain and update the brief tracker, recording details of incoming briefs, including source, timing, and requirements.
    • Develop and maintain templates for customer and property acquisition analysis, evaluating address, cost, quality, size, and other relevant factors.
    • Conduct risk and exposure analysis, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
    • Perform market surveys and maintain a procurement tracker, monitoring market trends and supplier performance.
    • Analyze social media and webpage analytics to assess marketing effectiveness and online presence.
    • Maintain records of repair/maintenance history, utility usage (diesel, AEDC, water), and other property-related data.
    • Track sales team performance, analyzing sales metrics and providing performance insights.
    • Maintain a record of customer complaints history, analyzing patterns and proposing improvements.
    • Track customer acquisition, retention, and referrals, assessing the effectiveness of marketing and retention strategies.
    • Calculate and analyze the cost of customer acquisition and retention.
    • Prepare tenant renewal reports, monitoring lease expirations and renewal rates.
    • Maintain a landlord tracker and conduct analytics to identify trends and assess landlord satisfaction.
    • Compile staff turnover reports based on exit interview data, analyzing factors contributing to turnover.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure accurate and timely reporting.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
    • Proficient in SQL and database query languages.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to create impactful visualizations and reports.
    • Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and hypothesis testing.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
