Data Analyst (Cause Marketing & Behavioural Insights) at ESOSA Food System

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to serve as the measurement backbone of our Cause Marketing Unit.

This role is responsible for building and managing the data systems that power behavioural change campaigns. You will ensure that all initiatives are data-driven, measurable, and compliant with NDPA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage WhatsApp CRM systems for campaign tracking
• Build and maintain data pipelines for campaign performance monitoring
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with NDPA standards
• Design and deploy behavioural and impact surveys
• Manage baseline and post-campaign measurement surveys
• Analyse consumer behaviour data and feedback
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards using Excel/Power BI/Tableau
• Produce monthly and executive-level performance reports
• Translate raw data into clear, actionable insights
• Analyze campaign and retail data to identify trends
• Support decision-making through evidence-based insights
• Recommend improvements based on behavioural findings

Qualification and Requirements

• BSc/HND in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Certifications in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence are an added advantage
• 2–4 years’ experience in data analysis or analytics roles
• Experience working with dashboards and reporting systems
• FMCG, telecoms, or digital platform experience is a plus

Key Skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Power BI or Tableau dashboarding
• Data cleaning, modelling, and interpretation
• Survey tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox or equivalent)
• Strong reporting and data storytelling ability
• Clear communication and visual presentation of insights
