Job Summary

• We are in need of a cyber security Specialist/ Analyst/ Specialist who will be protecting digital systems, networks, and data from threats like theft, damage, and unauthorized access by implementing security measures, monitoring for breaches, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance, requiring skills in risk assessment, threat detection, incident response, and security architecture.
• Professionals design, build, and maintain defenses, conduct tests, train staff, and stay ahead of evolving cybercriminals to safeguard sensitive information and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing security controls, policies, and procedures
• Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats and security trends
• Support compliance with security standards and regulations
• Install and manage firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and access controls.
• Investigate security incidents, report findings, and develop plans to prevent recurrence.
• Educate users and other IT staff on security protocols.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to find weaknesses.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Cyber security, computer science or a relating field.
• Basic to strong knowledge of cyber security principles.
• Understanding of networks, operating systems, and common threats.
• Familiarity with firewalls, antivirus tools, and security monitoring systems.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) is an advantage.
