As the Credit & Lending Officer, you will be responsible for assessing loan applications, managing credit portfolios, and ensuring timely loan recovery while supporting the organization's financial growth and risk management objectives.
Responsibilities
Evaluate loan applications and conduct credit assessments to determine eligibility and risk levels
Monitor loan portfolios and ensure timely repayment of credit facilities
Maintain accurate records of loan transactions, customer information, and repayment schedules
Follow up with clients on outstanding obligations and implement recovery strategies where necessary
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in credit analysis, lending, or loan administration
Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, loan processing, and recovery procedures
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management systems
