Credit Control Officer at Agricare Std Plus Ltd

Job Responsibilities

• Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention.
• Reconciling complex accounts.
• Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors accounts.
• Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team.
• Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team.
• Chasing up overdue payments via telephone and emails.
• Reviewing credit applications and references
• Use your knowledge of different legal entities and credit verification processes to ensure creditworthiness
• Setting credit limits
• Receipting, allocation and reconciliation of payments to customer’s accounts
• Solve problems regarding incorrect payments
• Producing monthly Aged Debtor Reports
• Highlighting problem customers to senior management
• Assisting the broader accounts team with ad hoc tasks

Requirements

• Minimum of an HND in a related field.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Further education and experience may be preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good business acumen for problem-solving.
• Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
