Cost / Inventory Officer at Rainbow Educational Services Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across the campus
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement (inflow and outflow)
• Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Track and analyze costs related to inventory and operations
• Ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions
• Work closely with procurement and accounts teams on stock-related matters
• Prepare inventory and cost reports for management review
• Identify and report variances, wastage, or inefficiencies
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ACA/ACCA/MBA is an added advantage
• 1–3 years experience in inventory or cost management
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Knowledge of accounting or inventory management systems (e.g., Xero ERP) is an added advantage
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
