As a Cost Analyst at Renmoney, you will play a crucial role in helping the organization manage its financial performance by analyzing costs and assisting with budgeting processes.
Your insights will support strategic decision-making and contribute to improving overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Track and analyze departmental expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Monitor actual spending against budgets and forecasts; report variances to management with supporting insights.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Reconcile expense provisions with supporting documents and ensure timely accrual of costs.
Support regulatory and audit requirements related to cost accounting and expense tracking.
Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in cost analysis, management accounting, or financial planning (banking or financial services industry preferred).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
Solid understanding of banking operations and cost structures.
