Cost Accountant at Sujimoto Construction Limited

Role Overview

• We seek a Cost Accountant to oversee product costing, inventory control, financial reporting, and profitability analysis. This role is crucial to optimizing Sujimoto’s financial efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Cost & Financial Analysis

• Analyze product costs and advise on pricing strategies for Sujimoto’s hospitality ventures.
• Maintain an advanced cost accounting system aligned with Sujimoto’s financial goals.
• Provide quarterly market insights and weekly gross profit reports.

Inventory & Pricing Management

• Maintain accurate cost records and update pricing in Omega Software (POS).
• Track inventory, conduct weekly physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Reconcile daily sales reports with bank statements.
• Assist in month-end closing and internal audits for Sujimoto’s financial operations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in cost accounting, inventory management, or financial analysis.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Omega Software (POS) or similar accounting systems.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
• ERP experience is a plus.
