    Corporate Sales Lead

    Job Summary

    • Our client in the food tech industry is looking for a qualified Corporate Sales Lead to drive their business to the next level.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education and public sectors, including private universities, secondary schools, state governments, federal government parastatals, and NGOs, to drive the adoption of the business solutions.
    • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education and public sectors, developing innovative strategies to expand the market share and drive revenue growth.
    • Needs Assessment & Solution Design: Conduct thorough assessments of the unique needs and challenges faced by educational institutions and public sector entities, and collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions that address these needs effectively.
    • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations, ensuring clear communication, alignment of objectives, and the smooth execution of partnerships.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, operations, and marketing, to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the business solutions to education and public sector partners.
    • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with the business objectives and drive long-term value for both parties.
    • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of partnerships, providing regular reports and insights to leadership and relevant stakeholders, and identifying areas for improvement and growth

    Required Skills & Competencies

    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute effective business development strategies that align with the company's mission and drive growth in the education and public sectors.
    • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
    • Needs Assessment & Solution Design: Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex needs and challenges, and collaborate with internal teams to design innovative, tailored solutions.
    • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, ensuring clear communication, alignment of objectives, and the smooth execution of partnerships.
    • Contract Negotiation: Experience in leading successful contract negotiations, with a deep understanding of legal and commercial terms and the ability to drive favorable outcomes for the company.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders across different functions and levels.
    • Adaptability: Agility in adapting to evolving market conditions and the ability to pivot strategies as needed to drive growth and impact.

    Technical Skills

    • Market Research & Analysis: Proficient in conducting market research, analyzing data, and generating actionable insights to inform business development strategies and decision-making.
    • Proposal & Presentation Development: Skilled in developing compelling proposals, presentations, and other collateral that effectively communicate the company's value proposition and solutions to potential partners.
    • CRM & Sales Tools: Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and partnerships effectively.
    • Financial Modeling: Understanding of financial modeling and the ability to develop and analyze business cases and ROI projections for potential partnerships.

    Experience

    • Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, with a proven track record of driving growth and impact in the education or public sectors.
    • Deep understanding of the education and public sector landscapes, including key stakeholders, decision-making processes, and regulatory environments.
    • Experience in developing and executing successful partnership strategies, with a focus on driving long-term value and impact.
    • Proven ability to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, from lead generation to contract closure and implementation.
