    Corporate Sales Broker

    Department: Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC)

    Direct Reporting Line: Head, FICC

    Job Purpose: As a Sales Broker, you are responsible for sourcing new corporate clients, building profitable ongoing relationships, and providing excellent customer service. Your primary focus is on selling foreign exchange (FX) and fixed income (FI) products to corporate clients. You are expected to provide clients with FX and FI management and advisory services such as hedging, forwards, and currency swaps, as well as accessing competitive pricing in order to encourage clients to initiate and complete trades with traders.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Sourcing new leads, making contact, and onboarding corporate clients Building profitable ongoing relationships with existing clients Providing clients with FX and FI management and advisory services such as hedging, forwards, and currency swaps.
    • Maintaining accurate records of client orders and ensuring compliance with regulations.
    • Keeping abreast of market trends and informing clients and prospects.
    • Meeting and exceeding KPIs as set by your Sales Manager.
    • Attending trade shows and regular client meetings.
    • Learning about new products and approaches to selling them.
    • Collaborating with team members, specifically traders to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Performing other sales-related duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to negotiate and make sound decisions that benefit the company.
    • Highly confident and a fast thinker.
    • Aptitude for numbers and IT skills.
    • Interest in financial markets.
    • Excellent management and analytical skills.
    • Interpersonal skills and the ability to foster effective working relationships within a team.
    • Ability to interact effectively with individuals, high net-worth clients, and corporate organizations in a wide range of roles.
    • Highly self-motivated individual with a positive attitude.
