Monitor and control the plant efficiently and optimally to maximize product recovery and manage the correct delivery rate and specifications to residue sales points.
Demonstrate continuous effort to maintain safety, improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless plant operations.
Monitor in-line chromatograph and ensure the product is kept on spec by adjusting as and when required and reporting same to operations supervisors.
Review and update operating procedures as required by Process Safety Management.
Requirements
Minimum of HND education or equivalent Certification. Prior DCS training is preferred.
6 years’ progressive experience in gas plants, of which 3 years in a similar role in operations or equivalent.
Mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and operational experience.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Must be knowledgeable of the plant processes (Cryogenic/Non-Cryogenic) and the DCS system.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safe rules, Material Safety Data Sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
