The Contracting and Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the contracting and procurement processes for our business operating in Engineering Galvanizing, Oil, and Gas sectors in Lagos.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and foster strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance collaboration and performance.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements and manage and monitor contract performance, addressing deviations and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. and mitigate procurement-related risks, implementing necessary controls.
Requirements
HND / B.Sc in Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in contracting and procurement, preferably in the Engineering, galvanizing and Oil and Gas industries.
In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, contract management, and supply chain best practices.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
