As a Contract Manager, you play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients in line with contractual agreements. You ensure smooth execution across managerial, operational and technical aspects, while keeping a strong focus on client satisfaction and solid financial performance.
Throughout the contract lifecycle, you act as a trusted partner—driving efficiency, maintaining oversight, and ensuring outcomes that meet both client expectations and business goals.
Your Activities Will Be Among Others
Ensure that operations are performed in a professional, efficient and cost effective manner.
Establish and maintain good working relationship with the Client.
Make sure that the contractual obligations are met to the full satisfaction of the customer.
Conduct regular performance review meetings on basis of pre-agreed performance parameters.
Ensure all operations are undertaken in a safe and secure manner and in full compliance with the company’s SLIMS policies and procedures.
Ensure that all operational and vessel personnel comply with all relevant regulations as well as Operational and SHEQ policies and procedures and that non-compliance is analyzed, evaluated and corrective/preventive actions are swiftly being taken.
In close cooperation with HR you will provide a dequate training and development of all staff under responsibility.
Conduct annual performance appraisals of shore staff, Captains working on board the tugs in the contract and appraisal of chief engineers along with the technical department.
Provide input to annual budgets and monthly/quarterly performance reports and monitor the financial performance of the contract and ensure the contract budget is being achieved
Your qualities
For this position we are looking for a candidate who already lives in Nigeria.
Relevant marine operating experience.
Preferably sea-going experience as Master, Chief Officer or Chief Engineer.
In-depth understanding and experience of Marine Industry and Terminal Operations.
