Responsibilities

• Generating contracts & Technical Performance guidance.
• Author, structure, and issue formal contract agreements stemming from external market tenders, internal sourcing, or approved single-source justifications.
• Develop and maintain a centralized, up-to-date database for Technical Evaluation Criteria.
• Interpret contract terms, liabilities, and indemnity clauses to ensure complete alignment with OERNL corporate risk governance.
• Obtain contract extensions and variations for existing contracts.
• Provide expert guidance in budget forecasting, strategic planning, contract execution, and compliance oversight.
• This includes the review and interpretation of contract terms and clauses to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• To offer specialized expertise in and validation of enterprise analytical technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and decision-making.

Requirements

• The Cost Engineer shall hold at least a Degree in Engineering or a relevant field. Must have adequate training or experience related to well operations or intervention oil and gas wells.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in both office and field supervisory roles.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in complex environments is preferred.Shall have experience with SAP, Ariba, Technical tender Evaluations and advanced MS Office skills. Additional relevant technical skills as required by the role.

Certifications:

• Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) for field operations.
• CCMP (Certified Contract Management Practitioner) or related certifications.
