Consultant Cardiologist at Lagoon Hospitals

• This role is responsible for applying Clinical knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, disease prevention and treatment of patients.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Care and management of cardiology cases.(Clinic duties as approved in clinical privilege form)·
• Development and compliance with clinical practice guidelines.
• Case reporting.
• Participate in your departmental quality improvement project.
• Conducting ward rounds and specialist clinics

Key Result Areas/ Performance Goals:

• Basic life support skills
• Teaching, support and supervisory skills （for medical officers and nurses）

Educational Qualifications

• MBBS or its equivalent
• Residency training in Cardiology from a recognized institution
• Valid medical practicing license

Professional Qualification

• Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College in Cardiology or Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians or its equivalent
• Valid medical practicing license
