Concrete Supervisor/Foreman at Trucrete Solutions Limited

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Supervisor/Foreman with a strong civil engineering background to lead and supervise concrete works on large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate must have at least 9 years’ experience, especially in managing traffic-related construction projects such as roads, bridges, and urban infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all concrete-related activities including form-work, reinforcement, pouring, curing, and finishing.
• Ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Lead and manage a team of concrete workers, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Plan daily concrete operations, allocate manpower, and monitor site progress.
• Inspect and approve form-work, rebar installation, and concrete mix design before pouring.
• Work closely with the project engineer, quality control team, and HSE personnel.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials related to concrete works.
• Monitor equipment, tools, and resource utilization.
• Maintain accurate records of work done, labor, and materials used.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and report incidents immediately.

Requirements:

• B.Sc./HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 9 years hands-on experience in concrete supervision, particularly in traffic-focused infrastructure projects (e.g., highways, urban roads, bridges).
• In-depth knowledge of concrete technology, structural detailing, and site procedures.
• Proven ability to manage a team, multitask, and deliver under pressure.
• Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in construction software/tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• COREN or relevant professional certification.
• Project management training or certification.
• Familiarity with Nigerian construction codes and standards.
