    Computer Operator/Buyer

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Computer Operator / Buyer to support daily operational and procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing computer-based data processing tasks, maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory levels, and sourcing and purchasing goods and services required by the organization. This role requires strong administrative, analytical, and communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    Computer Operations

    • Enter, update, and maintain data in company systems and databases.
    • Monitor and operate computer systems and related equipment to ensure efficient performance.
    • Generate, review, and distribute operational reports as required.
    • Maintain accurate records of transactions, inventory, and operational activities.
    • Troubleshoot basic system or data issues and escalate when necessary.
    • Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company procedures.

    Purchasing / Buying

    • Source suppliers and obtain quotations for goods and services.
    • Compare pricing, quality, and delivery terms to identify the best purchasing options.
    • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
    • Track orders and coordinate deliveries with suppliers.
    • Maintain supplier records and build positive vendor relationships.
    • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases to prevent stock shortages.
    • Assist in negotiating pricing and contract terms with vendors.
    • Verify invoices and purchase documentation for accuracy.
