Compliance Officer at Terawork

• We are seeking a diligent and proactive Compliance Officer to maintain our regulatory integrity, manage compliance frameworks, and foster a culture of accountability across the organization. This is a critical role for a detail-oriented professional with a strong grasp of Nigerian regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and regulatory directives.
• Develop and implement compliance policies, internal control frameworks, and codes of conduct.
• Oversee AML/CFT/CPF obligations, including KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes.
• Conduct periodic compliance assessments, manage risk, and document all compliance breaches.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other supervisory bodies.
• Design and deliver compliance training programs to staff and provide advisory support on regulatory matters.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles .
• Demonstrated understanding of Nigerian regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CISA, CRMA, or IRM) are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills with high ethical standards.
