Compliance / Data Analyst Officer at Mopheth Group

About the Role

• Mopheth Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance / Data Officer to join our Procurement Department.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing compliance with internal policies, verifying procurement documentation, and conducting data analysis to support purchasing decisions.
• This role requires a strong eye for detail, a high level of integrity, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular compliance checks across procurement activities.
• Ensure all supplier invoices follow SOPs (timestamp, supplier name, verification with a green pen).
• Perform data analysis on procurement trends, costs, and inventory levels.
• Generate weekly reports highlighting fast-moving items and sales trends.
• Prevent overstocking/understocking through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts, and Internal Audit teams.
• Conduct training sessions on compliance protocols.

Requirements

• BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or any related discipline
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in compliance, data analysis, or procurement in the retail sector.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and SOPs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Must be working in the retail sector
