    Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager

    The Compliance and QA Manager will be responsible for inspecting procedures, outputs, identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues and ensure products meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and drive the implementation of the annual Quality Control Plan for the factory.
    • Ensure that production Quality Control processes are implemented in line with approved procedures and guidelines.
    • Supervise laboratory operations to ensure precision in the sample testing process for raw materials, intermediate products, final products, oil, water, gas, etc. and appropriate calibration of equipment.
    • Ensure Product Quality targets are met and deviations from target quality standards are promptly identified and rectified.
    • Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on laboratory equipment and effective housekeeping is conducted in the laboratories.
    • Manage the interface between the QA/QC function and other relevant departments within the plant.
    • Evaluate batch record and release finished goods.
    • Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other related staff.
    • Manage complaints and monitor the corrective and preventive actions
    • Ensure that self-inspection and/or quality audit which regularly appraises the effectiveness and applicability of the quality system are done.
    • Ensures GMP, GLP and all other quality management systems are well implemented.
    • Prepare validation master plan, conduct appropriate validation and qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ, Cleaning validation, Process Validation, annual HVAC qualification)
    • Vendor qualification and audit.
    • Quality Risk Management implementation.
    • Handling product recall based on mock recall practice.
    • Stability testing for routine and new product development.
    • Manage proper documentations of all GMP documents (SOP, validation documents, batch record, etc.).
    • Develop training and monitor execution.
    • Prepare and ensure all documentations for regulatory audit (NAFDAC, PCN).
    • Prepare annual product review.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5-7 years’ work experience.
    • Proven experience in the QA/QC department in an FMCG industry.
    • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
    • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
    • Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Great attention to detail and a result driven approach
    • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
    • Reliable and Trustworthy
    • Certification of Quality Control is a strong advantage
