    Community Manager - Lagos Mainland

    Job Overview:

    • As a Community Manager at Workcentral Nigeria, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and energetic atmosphere within our coworking space.
    • You will be responsible for building and nurturing our community, ensuring members have an exceptional experience, and managing daily operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Member Engagement:

    • Welcome and onboard new members, acquainting them with our space, facilities, and community.
    • Cultivate relationships among members by organizing events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, needs, and feedback, ensuring swift issue resolution.

    Community Building:

    • Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the sense of belonging among members.
    • Identify and leverage member talents and expertise to facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
    • Encourage active participation in the coworking community through consistent communication and engagement initiatives.

    Space Management:

    • Ensure the coworking space is well-maintained, organized, and aesthetically pleasing.
    • Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff to address any issues promptly.
    • Manage meeting room bookings and assist members with space-related requests.

    Events and Programming:

    • Plan, organize, and promote a diverse range of events, workshops, and seminars to enhance the member experience.
    • Collaborate with external partners and local businesses to offer exclusive member benefits and discounts.
    • Track event attendance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

    Marketing and Outreach:

    • Support marketing efforts by creating and curating content for social media, newsletters, and the website.
    • Assist in promoting the coworking space to attract new members.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to expand the coworking network.

    Sales Target Achievement:

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for coworking space memberships, office rentals, and additional services.
    • Identify and engage prospective clients through various channels, including networking events, outreach initiatives, and digital marketing efforts.
    • Cultivate relationships with businesses, freelancers, startups, and other potential clients to drive membership growth and space occupancy.
    • Implement effective sales techniques, handle inquiries, conduct tours, and negotiate contracts to convert leads into memberships or rental agreements.

    Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Community Associates to ensure exceptional service delivery and achievement of sales goals.
    • Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance excellence, and member satisfaction.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and develop action plans to address areas for improvement within the team.
    • Resolve conflicts, promote teamwork, and maintain a positive work environment conducive to productivity and member engagement.

    Administrative Tasks:

    • Maintain accurate member records and databases.
    • Handle membership inquiries, contracts, billing, and renewals.
    • Generate reports on member metrics, occupancy rates, and feedback.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
    • Previous experience in community management, customer service, or hospitality.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in coworking management software and office productivity tools.
    • Innovative and resourceful problem-solving skills.
    • Passion for fostering a collaborative and inclusive workspace culture.
