Location: Satellite Town, Lagos

Job Description

• The Communications Officer will support our internal and external communications strategy, create and disseminate publicity material, advertising and marketing materials, and coordinate promotional events.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write and edit marketing and communications materials, including blog posts and social media content.
• Ensures that the web and mobile channels’ performance is consistently up-to-date and in tune with the brand.
• Promote communications and marketing materials through appropriate social media.
• Analyze and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns.
• Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with brand standards.
• Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos.
• Conceptualize and implement brand strategies and campaigns.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years prior experience in communication, branding, or marketing role.
• Understand the best practices of main social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content.
• Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team.
• Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of graphic design suites such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and CorelDraw is an asset.
• Understanding of branding, and marketing best practices.
• Good understanding of web development and publishing tools such as WordPress and the use of social media for marketing.
• Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts.
• Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction.
