Role Description

• This is a full-time role for a Commodity Trader at Assetium Capital Management Limited.
• As a Commodity Aggregator/Trader, you will be responsible for managing and executing trades, developing relationships with suppliers and clients, and strategically managing commodity portfolios.
• You will play a pivotal role in driving our trading activities, ensuring optimal performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in commodity markets.
• Trading Activities: Execute trades efficiently, managing buy and sell orders to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
• Supplier and Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients, ensuring the highest levels of service and satisfaction.
• Portfolio Management: Strategically manage commodity portfolios, ensuring alignment with company goals and market conditions.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with trading activities, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on trading activities, market conditions, and financial performance for senior management.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• A master’s degree or relevant professional certification.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commodity trading or related field, with a proven track record of success.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of commodity markets, including factors affecting supply and demand, pricing, and regulations.
