    Commercial Lead

    • Vetsark Limited is building the distribution backbone for Nigeria’s poultry and aquaculture sectors. We partner with farmers to increase production and connect them to reliable markets through financing, processing, and distribution infrastructure. 
    • We are seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Growth to lead the expansion of Vetsark’s protein distribution network across Nigeria. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, expanding market channels, and securing strong buyer relationships for poultry and fish products.

    Key Responsibilities

    Revenue Growth

    • Drive sales growth for poultry and fish products across wholesale, retail, and institutional channels
    • Secure cash sales as well as long-term supply agreements with restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, food processors, and distributors

    Market Expansion

    • Expand Vetsark’s distribution footprint across key urban and regional markets
    • Develop partnerships with food businesses, distributors, and commercial buyers
    • Identify high-demand market segments and develop targeted sales strategies

    Commercial Strategy

    • Develop pricing strategies and product positioning to improve competitiveness and profitability
    • Analyze market trends, buyer behavior, and competitor dynamics to inform commercial decisions
    • Support leadership in shaping Vetsark’s go-to-market strategy

    Sales & Relationship Management

    • Build and manage strong relationships with major buyers and distribution partners
    • Lead negotiations and close commercial supply agreements
    • Ensure excellent service delivery to maintain long-term customer relationships

    Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Work closely with farm operations, processing, and logistics teams to ensure consistent product supply
    • Coordinate with finance and operations teams to improve commercial efficiency and margin performance

    Team Leadership

    • Build and lead a high-performing commercial sales team
    • Set revenue targets and track performance metrics
    • Develop systems to improve sales productivity and accountability

    Qualifications

    • 4 – 10 years of experience in commercial sales, food distribution, FMCG, agribusiness, or supply chain businesses. Preferably in poultry sector and/or aquaculture.
    • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth targets
    • Experience working with wholesalers, supermarkets, restaurants, or foodservice companies
    • Strong negotiation and partnership development skills
    • Experience managing sales teams or commercial operations
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or related field. MBA is a plus.

    • The successful candidate will help Vetsark expand its protein distribution network, increase market reach, and build strong commercial relationships that drive sustained revenue growth.
