Commercial Accountant at Evans Industries

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Commercial Accountant at Evans Industries Limited located in Ikeja. The Commercial Accountant will be responsible for financial statements, financial reporting, management accounting, and utilizing analytical skills. This role will require on-site work in Ikeja, Nigeria.

• Accounts Receivable Management.
• Customer performance analysis by Brand, SKU and Location
• Sales Promotion and Business Case Analysis, Evaluation and Control.
• Discount and Rebate Management, Evaluation and Control.
• Analysis of Salesmen expenses.
• Budgeting and Budgetary Control for all Commercial transactions and projects.
• Documentation of all commercial-related Intercompany transactions, analysis and reconciliation.
• Reconciliation and Control of all Commercial Balance Sheet Accounts –Trade Debtors and Other Debtors, Debtors WIP Account etc.
• Ensure Internal Control Compliance of all Commercial SOPs, Policies and Delegation of Authority Guide.
• Month End, Quarter End and Year End closure and Reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a commercial accountant
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Must have certification; ICAN/ACA/ACCA
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and financial reporting
• Expertise in management accounting
• Analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
• Proficiency in relevant ERP software (Dynamic 365)
• Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines
