Comb Pipe Welder-Carbon STL (ARC&TIG) (Offshore) at Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH)

Job Description:

• Perform pipe welding on carbon steel materials using ARC (SMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding processes.
• Weld pipes in different positions (6G/5G/2G as applicable) in accordance with approved procedures.
• Read and interpret welding drawings, specifications, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
• Carry out fit-up, tack welding, root pass, filler, and capping as required.
• Inspect own welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with standards.
• Carry out repair welding and corrective actions when defects are identified.

Requirements:

• Trade certificate or vocational training in welding or pipe fabrication.
• Minimum of 3–7 years of experience as a carbon steel pipe welder.
• Proven competency in ARC (SMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding processes.
• Ability to weld carbon steel pipes in various welding positions.
• Sound knowledge of welding symbols, WPS, and quality requirements.
• Physically fit to work in construction, oil & gas, or industrial site conditions.
• Valid welding qualification or test certificates (preferred).
• Offshore travel documents valid for at least one year(BOSIET,OSP,SBC,Medicals, TB, A&D, Audiometry)
