Job Description

• The Coating Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining tablet coating machines to apply film or sugar coatings to pharmaceutical tablets.
• The role includes machine setup, monitoring, quality checks, and ensuring adherence to GMP and safety guidelines throughout the coating process.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Coating Equipment: Set up and run tablet coating machines (e.g., Glatt, O’Hara) according to batch instructions.
• Monitor Process Parameters: Control spray rate, temperature, airflow, and pan speed to ensure uniform coating.
• In-Process Checks: Inspect coated tablets for color, uniformity, and defects during production.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance to ensure machine readiness.
• Documentation & Compliance: Accurately complete batch records and follow GMP, safety, and SOP guidelines.
