Coating Inspector
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND
- Experience 3 - 5 years
- Location Lagos
- Job Field Project & Program Management
Description
- We are seeking a Coating Inspector to inspect and monitor surface preparation and coating works on EPC projects, ensuring compliance with approved standards and specifications.
Key Duties
- Inspect blasting, cleaning, and surface preparation
- Monitor coating application and thickness
- Perform and record coating tests (DFT, WFT, adhesion, holiday)
- Identify defects and support corrective actions
- Prepare accurate inspection reports
- Work closely with QA/QC teams and contractors
Requirements
- NACE Level 1 or 2 certification
- 3–5 years’ coating inspection experience (EPC or oil & gas projects)
- Knowledge of ISO, SSPC, ASTM standards
- Experience using inspection tools
- Ability to read technical drawings.
