Our Lagos development team is expanding with multiple opportunities available at different levels. We are looking for a young graduate to join our Cloud Engineering Internship program which in a short period of term would build capacity to function as a permanent Associate with the responsibilities highlighted below. 

Purpose of Job 

• Functionally discuss solutions with other engineers and translate requirements into a future-proof architecture. 

• Design and build infrastructure, platform and software solutions based on Azure and/or AWS. 

• To Uncover underlying customer needs by understanding end-user perspectives and pain points. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Understanding of software design and development practices and a strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices 

• Engage in the design, collaborating with product owners, architects and development teams to ensure that solutions help our customers and achieve the desired business goals. 

• Designing, developing and deploying software applications including Infrastructure design implementation and documentation. 

• Configuring network and security services such as VPC, NAT Gateway, Internet Gateway, VPN, API Gateway, SSO  etc 

• Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security. 

• Collaborate with other Cloud Support/Developers to design, implement and evolve automated CI/CD pipelines in the cloud. 

• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues. 

• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs. 

Qualifications & Experience 

• An Under-graduate/bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, engineering or a related field.   

• Knowledge of core computer science concepts such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, 

• Good communication and collaboration skills. 

• Client management skills. 

• Basic knowledge of Network architectures suitable for different Cloud topologies. 

• Awareness in open-source tools & scripting language
