    • We are looking for a person who wants to make .NET on Azure the best experience for developers everywhere to become our next Cloud Advocate.
    • A successful Cloud Advocate has equally strong technical and people skills.
    • You love talking about .NET and Azure as much as you love coding. In this role you’ll find yourself collaborating with internal Microsoft product teams ranging from developer tooling to Azure services to improve the .NET on Azure developer experience. 
    • You’ll use your understanding of our products to create documentation, write blogs, record videos, and give presentations to help developers become more productive.
    • And by being plugged in to the .NET community, you’ll help build an inclusive environment where all feel welcome and make sure their voice is heard inside of Microsoft.

    Responsibilities
    As a .NET Cloud Advocate, you’ll help create the best developer experience for .NET developers on Azure. You’ll help do this by:

    • Create technical content, videos, and samples from beginner to best practices that demonstrate how to develop .NET applications on Azure.
    • Network and build relationships with local .NET community members to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment.
    • Building and/or contributing to key OSS projects.
    • Champion .NET and Azure services in your local community at conferences, meetups, coding boot camps, online forms, Twitter, Stack Overflow, Hacker News, and more.
    • Scale your efforts by partnering with the Microsoft field and developer in community programs like Microsoft MVPs.
    • Write documentation, Microsoft Learn, and other first party content teaching developers best practices for our products.

    Qualifications
    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years software development experience.
    • 5+ years .NET development experience.
    • 3+ years ASP.NET web and web API experience.
    • Solid communication skills, including public speaking and technical writing.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1+ year Xamarin or other mobile development experience.
    • 1+ year working with containerized applications.
    • Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, and responsibility
    • Customer advocate with high agency and ownership mindset.
