    Client Services Executive (Export Ops)

    We are seeking an experienced Export Client Service Officer to manage end-to-end export operations within a freight forwarding environment, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strict adherence to shipment timelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive loading orders, coordinate truck dispatch through the Haulage team, process bookings, and arrange pick-up of empty containers from shipping lines.
    • Prepare letters for Customs, NDLEA (outside stuffing), submit VGM using weighing tickets, and request required client documents such as Packing List and Commercial Invoice.
    • Send invoice, Packing List and Form NXP to the agent for processing, prepare Shipping Instructions and Draft Bills of Lading, and process Single Goods Declaration and Assessment Notices upon receipt of CCI for customs release.
    • Supervise field agents during customs examination and clearance to ensure all required documentation is obtained.
    • Arrange submission of documents to shipping lines for vessel planning, process supporting documents (Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Movement, Phytosanitary Certificate) through agents, and request shipping and terminal charges through appropriate channels.
    • Arrange processing and release of Original Bills of Lading and other export documents to clients, prepare files for invoicing, submit daily shipment reports, plan vessel shipment, and maintain proper documentation and filing for easy retrieval.

    Performance Expectations

    • 100% compliance with assigned deadlines
    • 100% tracking of ongoing shipments
    • 100% data accuracy in documentation and system entries
    • Client responses within 30 minutes of inquiry
    • Proper documentation and effective monitoring of agents
    • Zero service complaints attributable to documentation or coordination lapses

    Requirements

    • BSc / HND in any discipline
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a freight forwarding/logistics company (Export operations focus)
    • Strong knowledge of export documentation and customs processes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Proven Data Analytics Skills + Power BI
    • Strong organizational & communication skills.
