Cleaning Supervisor at Emmanuel Bakeries

• Emmanuel Bakeries Limited (EMB) is seeking a responsible and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to coordinate cleaning activities and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff across assigned facilities.
• Prepare cleaning schedules and ensure that duties are properly assigned.
• Inspect offices, facilities, restrooms, warehouses, and other designated areas regularly.
• Ensure that cleaning standards are consistently maintained.
• Monitor the use and availability of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Maintain proper records of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Train and guide cleaning personnel on proper cleaning procedures.
• Ensure cleaning staff comply with company policies and safety requirements.
• Identify areas requiring special cleaning or maintenance attention.
• Report facility-related issues to Management or the appropriate department.
• Monitor attendance and punctuality of cleaning personnel.
• Conduct regular inspections and prepare reports where required.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Promote good hygiene and workplace sanitation practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc.
• Previous experience supervising cleaning or facility personnel is required.
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate a team and maintain high standards.
• Experience in an FMCG, office, factory, hotel, or similar environment is an advantage.
