Education: Candidates should possess O’ Level (SSCE) qualification with at least 1-2 years work experience

Experience: 1 - 2years cognate experience; previous experience in a Facilities Management firm will be an asset

General Description:

The role of a Janitor or cleaner comprise of Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the site owner or manager in charge. They must complete tasks like vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows, and mopping floors. 

Key Performance Area

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans.
• Washing and drying windows.
• Liaising with the line manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.
• Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
• Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
