Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - UAV / Aerospace at Uniccon Group

Position Summary:

• As the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.
• Your expertise will drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions in the UAV and aerospace sectors.
• Your leadership will be instrumental in building a world-class technical team and driving innovation in drone design, manufacturing, simulation, propulsion, avionics, embedded systems, and more

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide strategic vision and leadership in the development and execution of UAV technology solutions.
• Team Building: Recruit, lead, and mentor a talented team of engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Innovation: Drive research and development efforts to enhance product performance and capabilities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, including the NCAA RPAS License.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to integrate technical solutions seamlessly into our product portfolio.
• Technology Stack: Oversee and manage a broad range of technical disciplines, including controls, piloting, flight, simulation, research, repairs, and programming languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of dedicated technical experience in the UAV and aerospace sector.
• Possession of an NCAA RPAS License is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of leadership and innovation in UAV technology.
• In-depth knowledge of controls, piloting, flight dynamics, design, manufacturing, simulation, propulsion, avionics, embedded systems, and programming languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
