Chief Security Officer at Handyman Daige Properties

• he Chief Security Officer (CSO) will be responsible for the safety and security of our staff, assets, premises/sites, and operations. The CSO will develop and enforce security policies, manage the security team (internal or outsourced), and advise management on risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s security strategy, policies, and procedures
• Lead, train, and supervise security personnel and any contracted guard services
• Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and threat analyses
• Oversee access control, surveillance (CCTV), and alarm systems
• Manage incident response, investigations, and reporting
• Liaise with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies
• Plan and oversee executive protection and security for company events and movements
• Advise management on emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity
• Manage the security budget and vendor relationships

Requirements

• Must be a Retired Superintendent of Police (SP) or Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) from the Nigeria Police Force
• Verifiable record of honorable service, with no history of disciplinary issues
• Strong leadership, investigative, and risk management experience
• Good knowledge of physical security, surveillance, and crisis response
• Excellent communication, integrity, and sound judgment
• Ability to work under pressure and be available for emergencies
• Additional security or management certification is an advantage
